Blooming Branches
We've had a couple of sunny days here and with the sunshine a true sense of Spring has arrived. Blooming branches are everywhere, and there is no better way to bring an sense of Spring indoors than with a bunch of tall branches bursting with fluffy blossoms. From cherry, to plum, apricot and even dogwood, stems abundant with delicate blooms are available for the gathering. Whats even better than the look of these seasonal wonders is the ease of putting them into an arrangement. Simply place a large bunch in a galvanized bucket, a beautiful clear glass vase, even use the small scraps in a mason jar or old bottle for a quick window sill arrangement. These delicate beauties will lighten up your space and bring Spring into your home!

Spring Palette
A little springtime color inspiration to pair with this gorgeous weather we've been having... a spot of rain here and there punctuated by a warm, sunny weekend. Love living in the Bay Area!!! We are so lucky.
Here are some images to keep us in this sunny mood!

Rain, Rain
looks like rain... hope you get a moment to listen to it quietly, dance in it with a friend, splash in it on the walk home and savor it through the window as you sip something warm...

Peach
pendant lamp from Everything Begins, peony photo, graphic, jill stuart dress, dress, sparkle shoes, kate spade satchel, diamond
Hope you all are enjoying the holiday season! As 2012 approaches we look toward the next season and what Spring will bring. Along those thoughts, we've been inspired lately by a color that we think bridges the holiday crave for sparkle and the need for the soft tones of spring...
You may call this color peach or nude or a mix of pale pinks and apricots, whatever you call, we love it!
Here's a bit of end of season sparkle mixed with the fresh face of the coming spring... enjoy!

Spring is not over yet!!
I am starting to think that I have a Ranunculus obsession! Whatever floral creation I come across, I can't seem to keep my hands off of those beautiful flowers!! I know the season for them will end soon but Spring is not over yet and I will keep creating Ranunculus arrangements until then.

Spring is in the Air
When daffodils start blooming you know that spring is in the air. They are such a happy flower and what's great is they are pretty inexpensive so you can get alot of bang for your buck. This is one of my favorite spring arrangements that Priska made for a little spring cheer.
